Tour Ashton Hill Farm Cedar Rapids

Established in 2016, Ashton Hill Farm in Cedar Rapids is our original wedding venue location! With hundreds of weddings celebrated over the years, Ashton Hill Farm has become one of the best wedding venues in the Midwest.

With an expert team of wedding professionals, a beautiful outdoor ceremony location, getting ready rooms and a spacious reception hall, there’s no need to go anywhere else. You and your guests can spend the whole day relaxing and celebrating your special day at Ashton Hill Farm Cedar Rapids!

The Venue

White shiplap walls, soaring ceilings, and a gorgeous 18-foot tall window backdrop are just a few of the highlights of Ashton Hill Farm. The neutral palette and classic design make it easy to see your vision come to life in this space! Modern touches such as our 6-foot tall chandeliers and concrete floors, as well as gorgeous solid wood cross back winery chairs, make any wedding look spectacular. With seating for 300, we will custom-design a floor plan to fit your needs. Additional special features include white drapery, ambient lighting, and all-season temperature control.

Outdoor Ceremony

If your dream is an outdoor wedding, we had you in mind when designing Ashton Hill Farm Cedar Rapids. Have your ceremony overlooking spectacular views of the Iowa countryside. Custom-built benches allow for comfortable seating for all your guests. Our spaces are equipped with power for both music and lighting options.

Preparation Suite

Your day begins with exclusive access to our two gorgeous preparation suites. One of our spaces features an en-suite bathroom with makeup and hair area. We have a sitting lounge for relaxing and enjoying the day, as well as a second hair and makeup counter. This suite is designed as the ideal pre-wedding preparation setting for the Ashton Hill Farm wedding party.

The Loft

Our 900 square-foot loft is the perfect space for getting ready with your wedding party or a quiet space to sneak away after the ceremony. With a bar, gorgeous views of the main space, and comfortable seating, this space can also be utilized for your guests to enjoy a glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres or a quiet conversation during your event.

Veranda

Enjoy cocktail hour on our covered veranda and watch the sunset over the farm. The 1,800 square-foot veranda has residential outdoor furniture, bar, bistro lighting, and overhead fans. Gather around gas fire pits on the lower level veranda which includes comfortable seating and stunning outdoor views.

Outdoor Space

Enjoy a field of wildflowers during the summer and beautiful sunsets anytime of year. With views of the beautiful Iowa landscape, there’s no need to leave the grounds for amazing photo opportunities!
